It's draft day so I'll finally open this up.

I'll try to keep updated the best I can during the draft (at least round 1).  Site traffic can sometimes make it a bit difficult.

In you're curious to see how good or bad yourself and others were in past drafts, feel free to kill some time going over these old draft threads.

Does the draft itself start at 8 with pre-game from 7-8, or does the draft itself begin at 7?

My kids' dinner rides on the answer.

Really? That would be a stroke of luck for the celtics.
Perhaps Haliburton or Hayes will fall to 26.

No SL really killing my interest in this draft.

Guess I'll be rooting for trades to consolidate or improve our bench.

ok fine

Help me out here, friends.

Living many hours ahead has really put a damper on my ability to follow College hoops (as did Covid, obviously). I know a bit of international ball but not much. The fact that the draft won't kick off until the wee hours of the morning means I won't be able to follow along with anything live.

Let's ignore trades for now because that's way too messy:

Who am I excited about waking up to see that the Celtics have drafted? We (as always) need at least one good big. We probably need some backup level guards. Who are the people I should spend my afternoon googling for highlights?
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

Very uneasy feeling inside my gut today....God, I hope we dont end up with Harden on this team and no Tatum after next year as a result.

Who is Danny in love with in the draft? That is always the question...most likely a fiery, intense player who needs to learn how to shoot  8)

Danny must still be holding out that 3 picks will be a better offer to trade up than the 14 & 23, this seems to have been a good opportunity to consolidate 4 picks to 2 or 3
