It just occured to me that it took absolutely all day long for me to realize that in theory one or both of these guys could go to jail.  We are just that used to seeing pro athletes never ever go to jail, no matter how guilty, or what the crime.

The only two athletes that it ever occured to me might go to jail were Rae Carruth and OJ, and even then only after he was actually charged AND tried to flee in the Bronco.

Me too, actually. I had to say "these guys could go to jail" aloud to myself to make it register.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Plexico.

All of the stories I saw today said DC has extremely strict gun control laws. More details in the days to come as far as whether the piece was registered, what are the laws as far as concealed weapons, etc.

Will management back Agent Zero or throw him under the bus?

They pretty much have to face charges. The Washington PD will make sure of that.

And Stern is going to hammer them with some kind of suspension too.

I heard this morning on a sports radio station that the Feds are investigating this incident to because DC is not considered a state whereas in most states the local, possible state gets involved.

Can you imagine being that coach right about now?

"Hey guys let me just be a straight shooter here for a second.  Uh. I mean let me just shoot from the hip here.  No wait. I mean don't be afraid to shoot the lights out tonight. No! I mean just ...oh shoot...no wait. That's not what I mean. I mean if you're open...oh just shoot me. NO!"

espn has an update on the situation.  this is getting stupider by the day.  now arenas apparently had three guns, and crittenton and arenas pulled their guns out just to see who had the bigger gun.  how this ended up with them pointing them at each other is a mystery.  lol.  and apparently Arenas only had the guns at the verizon center b/c he didnt want guns in his house after his 3rd child is born.  So yeah it was ok to have three guns in the house when your toddlers are walking around, but now that you have an infant, who knows what could happen.  Sounds like everyones on damage control right now with the wizards.

It's easy to start a rant on the gun/weapon policies in the USA right now.

It's aching, but I won't do it.

if they brought guns and poinnted them at eachother they should be kicked out of the league. see ya later. sorry. but no player should have to share a locker room with nutcases like that.
