When rondo was here, he had the ball in his hands 75 percent of the time. When he was on the bench, the rondo effect was still on the floor, but it was worse bc guys like Terry and Bradley are not rondo.
Without the Rondo effect, everyone is working with each other. There is less standing around. The result has been amazing
plus you got two set of guards that are confusing the crap out of teams. Lee and Bradley, tire out the starters and barb and terry have been abusing the 2nd unit. Without guards bringing up the ball/operating properly and where most teams don't have a lebron who can bring up the ball, its been a nightmare for teams to play us.
On the offense also we are tiring opposing teams , getting them running everywhere trying to keep up with the passing. Its not one extra pass usually, its one extra after that, and another one etc. Sometimes its one too many, but for the most part it is a great habit we have picked up.
I really enjoy watching the rondoless celts just beating the other team up. They are tiring them out on both ends of the court and while on the other bc everyone on the celts are involved on both ends of the court, the energy level is there till the end. Other than melo literally everyone has been playing , contributing and not making mistakes
