The thing that's so amazing with this team is being down a ton just doesn't seem to bother them. I hate that they get down in the first place of course, and you'd like to see them just bury a team for once, but this amazing unflappability and calmness from a very young group is extraordinary. I get as mad as anyone when they play like crap to begin with and get in these holes, but a part of me also accepts that it's probably part of the deal for these young guys and I know they will find a way to fight back, win or lose. It's what makes this team so much fun and yet so maddening to watch at times. But above all else, it just fills you with excitement for the years ahead knowing just how much upside this group has. Great time to be a Celtics fan.
TP for that diatribe!  Well done.

talk about a great quarter...tatum and brown destroyed them...make them layups jaylen!!

There is something about Jaylen where he misses the easy ones. Between that and his missed free throws he could get a lot more efficient if he just makes the ones he SHOULD make.

That (3rd quarter) was an unusual missed layup.  He was all alone for a really easy dunk and opted to lay-in rather than dunk.  The possession ended up with 3 points for Brown, but that was a no-brainer dunk opportunity.

Smart with the 3.  1st guy off the bench to congratulate the guys on the floor--Kyrie (hugged Rozier 1st).

Earlier when Rozier made a big 3 when the C's were still in a big hole, MM was the guy to hug him.

Vets showing leadership and love for the younger guys.

I love this team.  They got off to a bad start falling behind by 22 and they stick with it.  They don't get down, they keep playing.  And now they are going to win in what is basically a blow out. I love it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is my favorite Celtics team since the big 3s prime.
How many other teams have been good since though?

The tail end of the big 3, and Isaiahs heroics weren't quite as fun for me. Amazing, maybe, and made me happy to be a Celtics fan, but not as sweet as this team.

This team is so young and so good.

Really enjoy this one.  The 2012 team for me was an absolute inspiration in the Playoffs that hasn't been beaten since though.  Love the FLEXING Celtics.

I am a defense guy, a youth guy, and a size guy though so I am very happy with this team compared to the undersized teams for years.

They just keep coming at you, and they have taken on the personality of their coach. A steel dogged confidence.

Agree, and the team it's replacing is last year's.  Fun time to be a fan.

There's confidence to it sure but I actually would describe it as consistency.  They play without looking at the score board.  Steven is a "process over results" guy and this team plays that way.
