This doesn't sound good:

"Joel Embiid will be sidelined for at least the 76ers’ next two games because of what the team is calling a facial contusion. However, Embiid might have suffered a fracture to the orbital bone of his left eye, sources said Thursday, adding that his eye looked kind of caved."

Ouch! Fultz strikes again!

Hopefully for the Sixers Embiid is ok going into the playoffs. I want to see them go up against the Cavs.

Philadelphia star Joel Embiid will undergo surgery to repair an orbital fracture of his left eye, be out indefinitely.

i believe it was deleted cause i cant find it (came out a few minutes ago)...but could only have been one of those two because those are the only two i get notified from

Pending the results of surgery, Embiid could return to play in 2-4 weeks, per league source. First round obviously in some jeopardy.

I have to imagine that with Embiid's already long history of injury issues, they'll be cautious with him going forward, so I think the first round could be in jeopardy for him (at least the start of it).

Truthfully, I think PHI will be fine if they play against IND first round with home court (assuming Simmons goes off and Fultz does well), BUT if they play WAS with a healthy Wall or even play against Indiana without home court advantage, it could be trouble for them. (Assuming Embiid misses part of, or the entire first round)

Means 76ers could fall as far as 7th and 8th seed and the Celtics could potentially have a date with them in Round 1.

They'd be a nasty bunch if Embiid was healthy facing the Celtics.

If it's cool with the masses, I'm a borderline 6ers fan.  Half my fantasy team is comprised of these guys.  I even google searched "Does Richaun Holmes deserve more minutes?" the other day.  I love it all the way around.

I wouldn't worry about facing the Sixers even with a healthy Embiid. They barely beat a team without Kyrie and Monroe.

George Hill looks hurt after landing with the wrong foot. Celtics aren't the only team ravaged by injuries.
