you have to call a spade a spade man. Paul is not getting his calls like Kobe.

also..you put a young strong guy like TA onm kobe and rotate with Ray...TA will tire him out and beat him a little...soften him up for ray...ray ain't 28...TA is....THAT is why i wanted to resign TA.....

Why do you always start a debate over an ex-celtic in every game thread? Tony, Shelden and Leon are not coming back...not matter how many times you post about them.

I'm glad two of them were on our championship team..and one helped us during our run to the finals...but they all have moved on now. We should too.

I don't get the complaining about the refs. Each team has taken 15 free throws.

As for Rondo, 4 points, one assist, one rebound. Something has to be wrong with this guy.

What are people seeing who think rondo is playing ok? He has 2 points, one assist and one rebound.
Does it matter how Rondo is playing if our defense is giving Kobe 22 points (8/11 shooting) in 14 minutes? Our offense is decent - we're shooting over 50% and we have 13 assists as a team, so we're on track toward our season average.

Rondo has not been good to day.  How is Derek Fisher getting into the lane at will. The passes have been off, he's been playing kind of out of control.  Pierce has been more herky jerky than usual too, but wow.  Officiating has been typically bizarre with Joey crawford in charge.  No way Big Baby deserves free throws (we'll take them though)

I wouldn't say Fisher's been getting into the lane at will.

Rondo's certainly out of rhythm though.  Doesn't have the same feel for the game that had made him such a potent assist man.

Rondo must still be injured, he may not have taken enough time to recover from all of his injuries

Rondo is awful, Ray is not getting enough shots, Pierce is our only scorer and we're only down 4. So we just have to give Ray more shots in the 2nd half, get KG going (if he can avoid further more foul trouble) and hope Rondo wake up... or benc him for Nate.

Plus, Kobe is in ballhog mode so it's all good for us in the 4th quarter, he will kill his team's offensive game.

Time and time again, it has been shown that if Rondo does not play well, this team has a hard time winning. Rondo has not played too great on defense either.

Game is incredibly even:

same number of free throws for both sides
Lakers just +1 on the offensive glass
Boston made one more three pointer
Celtics turned it over two times more than the lakers
Lakers shooting 48%, Celtics 51%

Paul has never gotten the calls against any team during his career, I'm used to it by now

defense is the issue. 54 points is way too many. lakers getting in the paint at will. unless this stops..boston is going to lose...

offense looks bad like it has the last few games...i am not happy. i hate the freakin lakers. i mean hate with red hot coals and flames from my eyes. i wish bad things on them..i don't even consider them a part of the human race

Certain calls during a game can really change the momentum. I saw this coming too man. Lakers are a bunch of hacks and the refs are letting them get away with it.
