Kobe Bryant with 20 first half points in only 14 minutes.

8-11 from the field and 5-6 from the FT line.

Yeah, I don't think he'll keep that up.

Rondo has not been good to day.  How is Derek Fisher getting into the lane at will. The passes have been off, he's been playing kind of out of control.  Pierce has been more herky jerky than usual too, but wow.  Officiating has been typically bizarre with Joey crawford in charge.  No way Big Baby deserves free throws (we'll take them though)

Look at it this way Kobe had to play near perfect and the Lakers are barely beating the C's at this point

oh how i love docs rebounding mentality..."just forget rebounds and get back on D"...ya......rebounding mentality, once ON never stops...once off...never starts...EVERY BALL HAS TO BE YOURS..!
Yet the play you're complaining about was on the defensive end, which has nothing to do with Doc's philosophy.

I wish BBD had been able to add insult to injury by connecting on a kick to Odom's groin during that shot (which it kinda looked like maybe he was trying to do).

Not a bad game so far. C's right in it.

Kobe will cool off. I love the fact that he is trying to do it on his own. He won't be able to keep it up.

Wish the 2nd qtr could've been better. Overall, I'm happy with where we are at.

I wouldn't say Fisher's been getting into the lane at will.

Rondo's certainly out of rhythm though.  Doesn't have the same feel for the game that had made him such a potent assist man.

What are people seeing who think rondo is playing ok? He has 2 points, one assist and one rebound.
Anyone following the C's offensive pace? Are we getting not sets or walking up? If the latter, that may have something to do with it

Man I'm glad we're going to get that lottery pick. Wait...

The C's need to do a better job containing Byrant. His penetration is what is breaking down our rebounding.

I can't believe we are even in this game with Rondo pretty much being a non-factor. If he plays just half as well as he usually does, we should win this game.
