Wow...that would be devastating to their seeking the #1 seed.

Could you imagine the Celtics getting #1 seed AND the #1 pick???

Too bad for Kevin Love & the Cavs. They aren't that formidable without Love though so I guess it is good for us. Hate to see serious injuries but it's part of the game. I bet they are on the phone now with NY though to get Carmelo if they think this will be a long term issue.

Knicks should go back in and make the offer again. Sacrifice this season to get K-Love long term.

Does Stevens gets to pick an Allstar replacement if Love is out?
It will be nice to see another Celtic.

I think the replacement does not even have to be for the same or similar position. Bradley deserves a spot on the all-star team

If he did I doubt it would be a Celtic. Who do you think would qualify? I would bet he would select Embid if able to play.

I was totally for Embiid over Love at the time of the selections ironically. Even as a rookie, he is a better play than Love when you take both sides of the court into equation. That being said he has missed 12 more games since this was announced and you can't put him in over guys that have played 25 more games than he has at this point.

It is sad we can't really even seriously hope for Horford.

Talk around my office (in Cleveland) that a lot of the Cavs fans want Irving, James, and Love (though a non-issue now) to all sit out the all star game.  Some would like James to sit out a game or two on either side of it as well.  That way they all get an extended rest.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

They should. Lue should have more confidence in himself as a coach and his authority after winning the championship. He should have already sat down Lebron and Kyrie and Love for the OKC game like he said he would. It is hard to believe them playing was not him getting talked out of it by the players. It is his job to make his own decisions and stick to them for what is best for the championship game. They lost the game anyways and Lebron looked like he was running in concrete.

Also, didn't they learn anything from the Warriors last year? The warriors are now a punch line in a joke having set the wins record but not winning the title. I don't think it was pure coincidence that following a season playing the most games of anyone in the NBA besides the cavs and then going balls to the walls for 82 games to set the wins record their team broke down in the playoffs. Bogut fell apart and couldn't finish, Iggy's back gave out, Curry got injured twice and tried to rush back in the playoffs. Do all those things still happen if those guys get a few extra 4-5 day breaks built into the regular season with strategically planned off days? I am sure if they had to do that over again they would do it differently.

Brad should play them 40 minutes each!

Bradley Beal is the Bradley that goes in IMO.
