It wouldn’t be a Celtics player appreciation thread without trade proposals for the players being appreciated.

10/10, TP
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

JB’s average over the last 10 games: 24pts, 6rebs, 4ast, 2TO. Shooting splits 53/43/70. Pretty [dang] good!

What I’ve been most impressed with JB lately is his passing and defensive intensity.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

the 4 assists and 2 turnovers is the really positive part.

TP to the OP

I particularly want to shout out his defense this season. He legit defends 1-4 and has been doing so really well this season. His incredible versatility and the value it brings to the team is often overlooked.

So Jaylen is now joining the dunk contest? I hope for 2 things: 1) he wins; and 2) he doesn't injure himself

FG% = 49.5%

3PT% = 34.4%
FT% = 72.9%
TS% = 57.8%

Jaylen's FG% is fantastic but his three point shooting and free throw shooting is mediocre. It is dragging down his overall scoring efficiency to league average. League average 58.3%

Love seeing a Celtic in the dunk contest.

It is fun.  And somewhat of a rarity.  The fact that it's a Celtics star this time around just adds to the excitement.

Jaylen is 1-14 from three in his last 5 games. More interesting that in the last 4 games he’s shot only a total of 9 threes. And his last 2 games only 2 and 1 attempts from the arc.  Maybe just an aberration, but also could be a concerted effort to reduce.

That would be smart if that is the case.  Only 34 3s overall for the Celtics vs WAS last game.  They pounded it inside and Porzingis got points and FTA.  Brown has been scoring consistently for a while when he gets that midrange fadeaway shot.   You still need to take the 3 when it is there.  But it is better if you can develop more scoring diversity.
