A) As numerous people have told you, yet for some reason you continue insisting that it could happen, it's financially impossible. So that should end the thread right there

B) The Lakers would literally have no supporting cast even if they were somehow able to magically do it

C) That team is still inferior to the Warriors. KD and Durant are roughly equals, Klay and PG are roughly equals, and Curry is better than Paul. Then Draymond and the rest of GSW's bench blows LA's out of the water. Plus, Kerr is a better coach than Walton

So really this isn't based in reality at all, and even if it were they wouldn't make it out of the West

Stating Curry is better than Paul = you dont know what you are talking about

Gsw has what bench? Livingstone?

Even if roster is stripped... lebron, paul, george have a real shot to dethrone the Warriors. This is the reality
Right, that must be why Paul has the MVP's and the rings right? Oh wait, that's Curry! You must be really audacious to say anyone doesn't know what they're talking about when you're insisting on an idea that doesn't even work in 2K.

Livingston, Iguodala, West, Bell and Looney to name a few. All better than what the Lakers have on the bench, especially if, as you suggest, they strip their team entirely.

This scenario isn't based in any sort of reality, so stop

Paul was the best player of the wcf (or top 2).  Paul is a much defender than Curry also

Tell me how did Curry the choker look tonight?  Curry better than Paul...get out of here
Lol ::) Curry scored, passed and shot better, and didn't get into foul trouble at all. Get real

You're very conveniently forgetting his literally record-breaking Game 2. Was that a choke job?? Far out man, you're usually far-fetched but this is ridiculous

Since I don't see the poll...

Curry > Paul

Not a hard decision either

Some of you are so chicken little. The only way that can happen is if those 3 take significantly less than the max, which ain't happenin'. Woj has an article right now talking about how Paul wants the max, and isn't leaving Houston. We know Bron isn't playing for the MLE.

The only "superteam" LBJ can put together is to convince Houston to somehow swing a trade.

And who cares? Look at what we're building here. We're the envy of the league, outside of GSW.

Also worth noting that Bron and Paul's position in the players association make anything other than a max a non-option

Dude, where are you pulling this nonsense that they can get all three guys? It’s not even close to possible with cap space, and the only way it could even happen at all is if they traded virtually all their young guys under contract and surrounded those three with veteran minimum contracts.

In other words - it’s not happening.

Again, trading Deng is not difficult. Lakers will shed whatever to make this work. You dont think they would?

Lebron could also take the Durant route and take a pay decrease

He doesnt need max. He will make more money some other way in LA

If it was easy to trade Deng they would have done so by now. No on wants him and LAL would be silly to attach a pick to move him. They had to tag D'Angelo to Mozgof to move him, they aren't doing the same to Deng. They'd have to attach Lonzo and a first with his salary to get anything in return and that would just take up their salary cap space anyway.

He's been their biggest problem to move.
