its an anonymous forum. unless someone says who they are, there is no way of knowing, and members should respect their anonymity.
Celticsblog not an anonymous forum. We do not require real names, and you certainly can take steps to avoid putting your information out there. (Not sharing your e-mail publicly, avoiding putting identifying information in your posts, etc.)
Nor does the staff share your information with the public. But we're not an anonymous forum, there aren't the sort of safeguards that will prevent someone from potentially linking your account to you online. It can be done, and with disturbing ease for almost anyone.
