Yes...the Cavaliers won the lottery in 2014 despite only having a 1.7% chance, and given the fact that we lost Hayward on opening night, then I think luck owes us one!

Happened behind closed doors, so ofc rigged-ness is not out of the equation.
cripes, are we going to have to endure another year of tinfoil-hat theories on the nba draft? please refer back to earlier threads on this from last year.

I just got my tinfoil hat back from the dry cleaners. :o

Now that would be something.

The rest of the NBA would be so upset if the Cs added an Ayton type prospect to this current roster.

Doncic would be so good coming off our bench!

Our chances are at least higher than LiAngelo Ball getting drafted!  :P

No and I hope they dont because of tax reasons. I would rather have vets in that salary spot next year.

But it might be worth it because you'll get back maybe 4 or 5 titles.

The problem is that if it is the #1 pick, it doesn't go to us.  We only get the Lakers pick if it lands 2-5.

And Ayton will be taken #1 overall is what it looks like.  So the question is who would you want out of Doncic, Bagley, Bamba, etc., etc. if the Lakers pick conveys.

Another question to ponder is would you rather have a top 2-5 pick in this years draft, or would you rather have a top 5 pick in the next draft, when it will be the King's pick conveying for sure with zero protections, unless... it is the #1 overall pick in which case we get the Sixers pick that year instead, booo!!

It can only be 2 or 3, btw.  Lakers either get a top 3 slot in the lottery, or draft 10th or worse.
