Title: Chris Copeland
Post by: ssspence on February 20, 2013, 09:31:06 AM
Due to having 15 guys on their roster, if the Knicks make a trade they may need to cut a player. Some talk that such player could be Copeland.

I like him. If this happens I'd try to sign him, or get out in front of it and trade a 2nd rounder for him.

Agree and TP for the info! Copeland played great when Carmello was out. I'm on board.

Copeland has looked good when I've seen him play (which admittedly isn't a lot).

wouldn't mind picking him up.  looks like a solid bench player down the line.

Yeah, shooter ... really good shooter.

He would be a nice guy to have as a third string SF behind Jeff Green and Paul Pierce.

13 points in 10 minutes in a blow-out loss to the Pacers last night.

Hard to imagine the Knicks cutting him over James White. But I guess stranger things have happened.
