We're looking into it, but I think it's mostly a product of unprecedented traffic in the game threads.  We've got a ton of visitors, many of them refreshing the page multiple times per minute.  That's slowing things down for everyone.

I think it's an issue mostly with the forums, as I haven't seen issues with the front page.

Yeah, it's been awful during last Saturday night and tonight. I tried everything I could but the speed in the forums is at a dial up modem pace. Sometimes even slower.

It's a world of difference. Forums take forever, front page is a breeze.

Yup, only noticed it just recently and other sites work fine browser just hangs and I cant access the site

Yeah, me too ... as usual, I thought it was my computer, so I've been cleaning the cache, defragging, scanning for viruses, restarting, etc., over and over. Now it all makes sense.

Site traffic is really heavy now, and there doesn't seem to be any slowdown.  The problem appears to be fixed.
