It's time to determine playoff seedings for the Celticsblog draft.  Rank the division winners in each conference, and then rank the remaining at-large teams.

Vote here!

Remember:

1) The best team gets "1", the second best "2", etc.;
2) Voting is for the "mock" teams in the CB draft, *not* actual NBA teams;
3) Please only vote once;
4) Check out each team's complete roster before voting

Team press conferences can be found below:

Atlantic Division
Central Division
Southeastern Division

Pacific Division
Northwest Division
Southwest Division

Again, Vote here!

So the 8 team that gets the best votes on each conference are in the playoffs, right?
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Right, the 3 division winners, plus the top five finishers in the at-large vote in each conference.

Just a reminder to everybody to vote; we only have 18 responses so far, and things are *very* close right now, pretty much from top to bottom.  I don't want to hear any griping about seeding if people don't vote!

(In the Western Conference, for instance, there are *seven* teams literally within one average position of one another right now.)

They're only available to the person who sets up the poll, unfortunately.

Haha.  I kinda like the fact that the results are hidden, so far; it keeps people from strategically voting, by voting against their closest competitors.  If people don't know who those competitors *are*, there's no way to cheat.

I will, however, give you the raw scores (not connected to any team).

Eastern Conference Division winners:

1.57
1.78
2.65

Eastern Conference At-large:

2.73
3.91
4.95
5.50
5.73
5.77
6.55
7.45
8.36
8.91
9.05
9.09

Western Conference Division Winners:

1.54
2.12
2.33

Western Conference At-large:

4.22
4.83
5.22
5.26
5.30
5.65
5.74
6.26
7.3
8.00
10.00
10.22

Those results are actually a little less bunched than they were earlier, but it's still very, very close.  You can see that there's no consensus about who the best teams are.

I reckon that's Las Vegas. No one believes in rebuilding. This is a Celtics blog, right?

Ahaah. Thanks RH. TP4U.

That is a tight race. Especially the western conference. I hope either 4.22, 4.83, 5.22, 5.26, or 5.30, stands for the San Antonio Spurs.  :)

About 6 more weeks until the season starts. How about another Celticsblog draft, guys? LOL.

Those numbers are interesting.  So far I guess I'm really surprised there is no 1, 2, 3 in the West's non division winners, but it's interesting to see 8 teams very close in competing for playoff spots 4-8.  I'm also surprised there is no clear cut 1 in the East's non division winners.  I think there is a couple of teams clearly above the rest in both the East and West's non division winners, but that's not what the numbers are saying so far.

Just remember vote New Jersey #1!  :)

Last call for voting.  I'm going to close voting at some point later this evening, so if you're going to vote, make sure you do it today.
