I知 worried about this game to be honest.  Not sure the same energy will be there or will match what the grizzlies will bring.  Hope to see nesmith.

we should be able to beat a healthy Memphis team with our current roster never mind with who they have left standing.  perfect storm for a 'gotcha' game loss

Yup - no Ja so the potential for a letdown is there and if the Grizzlies show up and work on the defensive end, it could be frustrating to watch - at least for awhile.

Have a feeling we'll see plenty of R. Williams tonight where he didn't play a ton last night yet was so effective.

Tatum played 40 minutes last night, gonna be interesting to see how hard the Celtics push his minutes and to a lesser degree Brown/Smart who played 34/33, if the game is close.

Celtics out tonight against the Grizzlies:
Javonte Green - health and safety protocols
Romeo Langford - wrist surgery
Tristan Thompson - hamstring recovery
Kemba Walker - knee recovery
Questionable tonight:
Tacko Fall - eye irritation
Jayson Tatum - left thumb sprain

If Tatum is questionable might be better to just rest him... we will see some experimental line ups. I知 not excited about Carsen, waters playing more than situational minutes ... also Nesmith better seize the opportunity

Bad night to not have TT. Valunciunus gonna have himself a game.

They should rest JT. I think they played him 40 mins for a reason last night and it was because they knew they were going to give him tonight off.

For Javonte, is health and safety protocols basically saying Green tested positive for covid? If it is that is bad news for the team considering he was in contact with everyone last night since he played.

Assume it値l be time lord and Theis splitting center minutes. I値l be shocked if we don稚 see some nesmith tonight.

Was thinking this myself. The way the games are spaced, Covid outbreaks on teams could significantly affect won-loss records.  For example the Celtics have 5 games between now and next Wednesday.

don't these players get tested on a daily basis anyways and if +ve for example..would have to self isolate.
those who he had in contact need not self isolate since they are -ve but still need daily testing am I right?

I have no idea but it seems to me that any cold-flu symptoms would place a player in a safety protocol.   Wouldn稚 be surprised if that痴 all it is.

No Walker, Green, Langford, Thompson or Fall, and we definitely shouldn't take risks with Tatum and he could use the rest after playing 40 minutes last night. Still leaves us with a decent rotation that should beat the Grizzlies who are dealing with even more injuries. Don't want to see Smart and Brown play 40 minutes or so, we've a long and busy schedule ahead of us.

Start: Pritchard (28)/Smart (32)/Brown (32)/Ojeleye (24)/Theis (28)
Bench: Teague (24)/Nesmith (20)/G.Williams (24)/R.Williams (28)
DNP: Waters/Edwards

Edit: apparently Tatum is ready to play, little adjustment

Start: Pritchard (28)/Smart (32)/Brown (32)/Tatum (28)/Theis (24)
Bench: Teague (20)/Nesmith (16)/Ojeleye (20)/G.Williams (16)/R.Williams (24)
