Clippers choked a 22point lead
NBA teams giving up 20+ point leads happen very often in NBA games. I used to think giving away a 20+ point lead was choking, but not anymore. It's too common an occurrence now. The expansion of the three point game has allowed 20 point leads to be closed very quickly. I now look at such things as simply a shift in emotion, just an extra long run.

Yes, the game has changed. Big leads are not what they were.

All these 3s have changed that. Not just making 3s but teams that are missing 3s. You get big swings especially if both happen at the same time (one team making, one team missing).

Sixers actually played well given all their circumstances. But another effect of playing these games with a limited number of players, you have guys needing to play like 45 minutes because there's no other options really. I think PHI had two players play 45 minutes and another play 42.

C's unfortunately may face this too soon. Jaylen, Smart and others consistently needing to play 38-40+ minutes a game to make up for Tatum and others not playing.

Cs have 8 games in 12 days. I’d rather they forfeit than have to play their players 45 mins per game.

I think another major aspect of this is foul trouble when you have only 7-8 available guys. Theis for example is guaranteed to foul out by halftime if you play him that many minutes.

No offense but when I was in my mid 20s I could run ball from sun up till sun down and dance at the club all night. Rinse repeat day after day.

I also rocked a mullet and turtle necks with gold chains so I was pretty special.
ok fine

Since when is a 12 point loss a blowout?  The Sixers played 7 players including 3 rookies and a G leaguer with Green and Howard being the only established NBA players.  The question is how did the Nuggets NOT blowout that team.

Sixers were down 20-22 points through most of fourth quarter and Nuggets let up late to make it look closer than it was

It was over with the 21 point deficit at the 3rd quarter break. It was a blowout

Another player (Thomas Bryant) went down with an ACL. Been a ridiculous amount of injuries this season.

Those luminous green jerseys for Minnesota are a horror-show.

Not sure whether Towns is fat or if those ugly jerseys just make him look fatter than he is.

Warriors are now 6-4 with impressive wins over teams like the Clippers and Blazers. Who's doubting Curry now?

Obviously their SRS rating looks pretty bad right now, but they had some pretty bad losses at the start of the season when Draymond was out and their team was a hot mess influencing that number.

feel bad for Thomas, a real binkie of mine. This was a season that he needed to solidify himself as a legit NBA talent.
