based upon doing the math of adding in unused games the true order of finish/draft order seems to be

1   UNM
2   Utah
3   Tyrion
4   Yall
5   Champkind
6   Pitts
7   Gains
8   Lucky Strikes
9   Juggs
10   Sauce Castillos
11   Larkin Needs a Home
12   Birdman
13   Brahma Bull
14   Toines
15   Bada Bing
16   Keyboard Gangster
17   kWhit10
18   Jackalopes
19   Down w Brown
20   MMSB

Therefore the following teams are tied to the following lottery results...(however if said team has more than 75 unused games are ineligible for a top 3 pick unless they traded their pick....however if they acquired another....they are still ineligible for a top 3 pick)

Gains                    Nuggets
Lucky Strikes            Clippers
Juggs                    Clippers via Pistons
Sauce Castillos             Hornets
Larkin Needs a Home      76ers
Birdman                    Knicks
Brahma Bull           Cavs via Nets
Toines                   Kings
Bada Bing                  Bulls
Keyboard Gangster      Magic
kWhit10                   Hawks
Jackalopes                   Mavs
Down w Brown          Grizz
MMSB                 Suns

Just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page here about the current #7 (Toines) and #14 (Gainesville) picks.

Gainesville Red Claws have the right to swap picks. You swapped them already in the final standings/draft order post, but I'll obviously wait till after the lottery to exercise (or not) the swap.

It also looks like outside of that swap, other traded #1 pics are not reflected yet (since I believe MMSB actually owns the TB pick currently)

Right. These are the picks as the finished and what NBA team they are attached/correlated to.

I haven't done anything with who owns what, plus I have to wait till after the lottery to determine draft order, which will also take into account the 76 unused games rule.

Anyone know about offseason trading in the Banana Boat league? I got some young talent available

I believe GC gets my 1st rounder then, because he had the right to swap with Bacon for the #14 pick, so since it landed at #2 it would go to GC and #14 to Bacon, is that right?

I have no regrets, as I had gotten Donovan Mitchell and more out of that deal.

The following are available from eja

You can pry him from my cold dead hands:
Jarrett Allen

Only available for rookie Larry Bird and 1992 Christian Laetner:
Victor Oladipo

You probably can't afford him:
Clint Capela

Unavailable
The Lithuanians

I could be surprisingly reasonable...but not that reasonable
DeRozen
Isaiah Thomas
Avery Bradley

You'd have to talk me into it
DeAngelo Russell
Gary Harris
Steven Adams

He's probably worth more to me than to you
Kelly Oubre
Trey Burke
Tyler Ullis
Thomas Bryant
Antoino Blakeny

He had a great last month on a bad team so if you need a pg he's cheap
Tyler Dorsey

The spreadsheet is in the process of being updated. It's largely up to date. The tabs you need by far the most are the first two all the way to the left and the last two all the way to the right, and I plan on adding the rosters tab next.

eja update

The following are available from eja

You can pry him from my cold dead hands:
Jarrett Allen

Only available for rookie Larry Bird and 1992 Christian Laetner:
Victor Oladipo

You probably can't afford him:
Clint Capela

Unavailable
The Lithuanians

I could be surprisingly reasonable...but not that reasonable
DeRozen
Isaiah Thomas

You'd have to talk me into it
DeAngelo Russell
Gary Harris
Steven Adams

He might be worth more to me than to you
Kelly Oubre
Trey Burke
Tyler Ullis
Etwaun Moore

He had a great last month on a bad team so if you need a pg he's cheap
Tyler Dorsey

2019 picks
Toines first
eja's first

If your roster is getting squeezed I could possibly trade the two firsts for a young star.

Can someone please clarify what the actual draft order is - including trades and penalties etc?  The spreadsheet doesn't make much sense to me as I was under the impression that I should have the 4th pick - I was lined up with the #1 but since I missed 75+ games so I could not get top 3 - but it looks like I am at #7?

Just a suggestion, maybe we should carry out the draft on here a little earlier, while the Celticsblog forums are still available?

I imagine trying to move everyone to another place while also trying to organize the draft and get the roster cut down to go into Yahoo will be a bit too much all at once.

#1.  The first person that suggests we move to Reddit ends up with a horse head in their bed.  Let's just get that outta the way.

#2.  I actually did send Yennie a message on this just yesterday and I was surprised he didn't get back to me so I'll try again.

Don't expect anything till the week after Labor Day absolute earliest.  That would be Warp Factor 10 so that seems unlikely to impossible.

But perhaps the annual gathering of the GMs can begin

Hey guys, so I'm going to provide more details soon in the main thread about this, but the move to a new site is coming together and should happen relatively soon in September. Most of the major pieces are done, but there are a lot of small things to address for a smooth transition.

Definitely plan to have a relocated site before real games begin, it will be the same forum with accounts, history etc intact and also trying to fix some things that have been broken (emails, registration system, connection issues etc). We have a few ideas that I think will enhance the community, but nothing radical as the 1st and 2nd priorities are preserving what we have for everyone to continue to enjoy.

In short, please stick around =).

I am strongly considering next Sunday night or the one after that for the draft. So everyone sleep up over the weekend. If anyone has any strong opinions on that ....I believe in freedom of speech. ....as in my ability to tell you "Ah gee. That's too bad."

I'm leaning toward the one two weekends away. It gives everyone more time to send me lists and put aside time, but less time to make final cuts, which honestly doesn't bother me. I think that's easier

I think I'm more prepared for this than I thought I was. I'm thinking next Sun night could be done fairly easily and I don't really see why not.

Im good for next Sunday, but not two weeks from now. If two weeks from now works for everyone else though, thats fine with me.
Looks like next Sunday wins by a vote of 2-0 at the rate we're going

im good with sunday night

3-0 now  ;D

ok Toines. You've talked me into it. We'd probably start around 6:15 Pm because the Pats play at 8:20 against the Lions

Utah Flash Pre-Draft Trading Block
(Sept 17, 2018)

Beets, Bears, Battlestar Galactica

Cody Zeller

18.9 fppg in only 19 minutes. 28.0fppg the season before in 27 min. Zeller averages ~1 point per minute played. He'll be in a much better situation once he or D12 is traded or D12 contract expires after next season.

Tyler Johnson

23.1 fppg last season and 29.0 the season before. TJ is a very good combo guard for MIA. He averages ~30 minutes per game the past two seasons and started 39 last season. While he will never be a 40fppg player, he will remain a solid mid 20s-30ppg for MIA.

LaMarcus Aldridge

44.7 fppg last season. Mid 40s ppg players like LMA don't become available that often. Take advantage of my stupidity.

Stanley Johnson

19.6 fppg last season

Jeremy Lamb

25.5 fppg and is in a contract year. There's a new coach in CHA who wants to emphasis scoring. The rumors are the MKG is going to the bench, Batum to SF, and Lamb to start with Monk off the bench.

#19

Lotsa interesting players will be available at 19.

2019 Pitt 2

Guaranteed high second in next year's draft... jk about the high part. I just poking a little jab at Pitt.

And I knew exactly what to do. But in a much more real sense, I had no idea what to do.

* Kyle Kuzma - 29.5 fppg
* Elfrid Payton - 31.4 fppg
* Dennis Schröder - 35.3 fppg

I have alot of questions. Number one, how dare you?

* Andre Drummond
* Rudy Gobert
* Nikola Jokic
* Cedi Osman
* Marcus Smart
* John Collins
* Taurean Prince

eja thanks for holding down the fort on all of this! I've been super busy, but the good news is that a chunk of that time has been keeping CelticsBlog alive.

Check out the announcement thread, but TL;DR; the forum is moving this Friday to celticsstrong.com. There will be a bunch of new threads at the new site talking fantasy sports on the forum among other things, so please plan to jump over to our new home. This is also a great time to share your ideas for the community. Let me know what would make the forums even better for you!

Ok. I am told after Friday if you just go here just like you do every day we will be directed to the new site and that you may not notice almost any difference at all, except in the address bar instead of saying celticsblog.com it will say celticsstrong.

Same username and password

So I'm good to type in the draft order.

We actually did it that way last year and there were zero complaints and I think general consensus that it was better that way on several levels.

I find it very difficult to round up everyone and I really hate that people have to wait so long because of 4 guys that don't send it their lists.

Maybe it would be better to agree that if you aren't present AND you haven't sent a list that commish has power to announce your pick after 5 mins or something like that.

Sorry I actually don't remember us going to 5 mins a pick last year. Seeing's how I don't even remember it it must not have stood out as bad.

That said, I prefer 10min — but am just a single voice and gladly go with the majority.

So as an FYI to give more context I still have not heard from over half a dozen GMs and have not gotten a single list.  I don't think this should be totally sneaking up on people.

That's my major motivation for the 5 minute thing. Otherwise this thing goes to midnight, and that just seems a bit much to me, especially since several of us have ANOTHER draft that STARTS at 10pm just two days before.

I have one list from one GM

I believe I have my own and Toine's firsts next year. Those and Isaiah Thomas are on the block for an elite young player.

Also Trey Burke is sooooorrtta on the block.

Also if I get an offer I can't refuse I might take it. I like having open roster spots right now

I am likely to miss the draft tonight. I have provided a list to EJA, but if anyone is interested in #28, feel free to send me a message during the day.  As can be seen from below, I have a roster crunch, so the player at 28 has an uphill battle to my roster.  Korkmaz and Wilson are available for a 2019 second round pick.

Any of these players can be had for a 2019 2nd rounder — or you can have 2 of them plus Juggs 2019 2nd for a 2019:

- Reggie Bullock

Rosters are updated in the spreadsheet and I pasted draft results in there too. Now I gotta post draft day trades.

Ok. Those are posted now too.

So now we gotta pick a day to have cuts done by.

The season starts Oct 15 or something like that so everything's gotta be in Yahoo by like the 8th to make things nice and smooth. My instinct is for cuts to be due by Saturday morn so I can take the weekend to enter that. Hmmm....maybe Sat evening because I'm darn busy that day

I have to look at what I did last year

Everyone on my roster is available, but the following players are extra available for a 2nd round pick:
TJ Leaf
Furkan Korkmaz
DJ Wilson

It would be extremely helpful if everyone would go to the spreadsheet and make sure I have your rosters and assets accounted for properly.

What we can probably do is one bird with two stones. You make your cuts and attest to the spreadsheet being right at the same time. This should reduce my liklihood of mistakes when I do the yahoo thing later

I'll probably send out this email and put this in the league as well

Mine appear correct.

Won't we have to post our cut-down rosters here or somewhere too?

-------------

Speaking of...

Any of these players can be had for a 2019 2nd rounder — or you can have 2 of them plus Juggs 2019 2nd for a 2019:

- Reggie Bullock
- Svi Mykhailiuk
- Johnathan Motley
- Cristiano Felicio

I'll also listen on Denzel Valentine or Dillon Brooks!

Everybody start checking the possible cuts for guys that didn't do it. I hate making those decisions myself, but rules is rules and TRADITON! TRADITION!

Because of our traditions we have kept our balance for many many years.

Here in Lucky's Points League we have traditions for everything.
How to draft.
How to cut.
How to trade.

You may ask,
how did this tradition get started?
I'll tell you.
I don't know.
But it is TRADITION!

It's easy enough to pick your keepers. If you are on a computer go to your roster page. Underneath the main options on the second line down over to the right is the option. Pick the guys you haven't cut. This will probably save me maybe an hour and a half of work. If only a couple teams do this then this is my last year as GM. Tired of chasing people on simple tasks. You all get another 24 hours to pick keepers/make cuts.

I wonder if I only gave people 2 hours to pick keepers last night or if they get to do so throughout the day today. Whatever the case it's done now.

REALISTICALLY

I am extending the cuts deadline till I can get to it, which is hopefully tonight.

Sorry for the slackin' guys.

Cory Joseph, Dante Cunningham, PJ Tucker gotta go.

Any of the combos suggested acceptable too, considering my tardiness.

I think I actually have way more keepers than I thought so I think I can use that to infer some cuts soon.

I believe it is all done now.

You may recall this post from May 6.

based upon doing the math of adding in unused games the true order of finish/draft order seems to be

1   UNM
2   Utah
3   Tyrion
4   Yall
5   Champkind
6   Pitts
7   Gains
8   Lucky Strikes
9   Juggs
10   Sauce Castillos
11   Larkin Needs a Home
12   Birdman
13   Brahma Bull
14   Toines
15   Bada Bing
16   Keyboard Gangster
17   kWhit10
18   Jackalopes
19   Down w Brown
20   MMSB

I believe this is now our waiver order per constitution.

Everybody check their rosters asap

Nope! MK's Utah Flash took back their title.

Makes sense.  It was only a matter of time before new management tarnished the great LarBrd33 Leprechaun Legacy with incompetence.  The people of Bellevue must be disgusted.

;-P

Congrats Utah.

Yep.  I have a terrible podcast.  Want to come on and talk about how I so thoroughly dominated this league that they removed me?  Lol.  I still get pm’d on reddit once a month from random people inviting me to their league, because the post about my triumph is the all-time most viewed in the history of the fantasy basketball sub.  Something like 200,000 views.  The legend lives on.  This is arguably the most famous fantasy basketball league of all time thanks to my incomparable dominance.  I’m glad to see you carrying on Utah.  You were a worthy foe.  I’m surprised it’s took you 4 years to finally beat the Zombie Leprechauns. I’m like Sam Hinkie has Hinkie built a big enough cushion that Philly was able to coast to 3 titles before Colangelo ruined it.

Yep.  I have a terrible podcast.

I checked out your podcast. TBH, the episodes that I listened to were not that terrible ;) Even though the topics were a few months old, they were interesting. I have to give you props on the production quality. It was quite good.

Want to come on and talk about how I so thoroughly dominated this league that they removed me?  Lol.

That's for the offer. I wouldn't want to bore you fan(s). Besides for personal music playlists & the Plague of Athens, a podcast about someone else's fantasy team is America's 3d least favorite topic.

I still get pm’d on reddit once a month from random people inviting me to their league, because the post about my triumph is the all-time most viewed in the history of the fantasy basketball sub.  Something like 200,000 views.

I suppose this is the equivalent of the people who get engaged to prisoners convicted of crimes against their former spouses. It's a blend of nativity, denial, and self-destructiveness.  :police:

The legend lives on.

"A coughing chuckle filled his throat. He turned and leaned against the wall while he swallowed the pills. Full circle, he thought while the final lethargy crept into his limbs. Full circle. A new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever.
I am legend.”

Richard Matheson, I Am Legend  LarBrd33, The Legend Lives On

This is arguably the most famous fantasy basketball league of all time thanks to my short lived in comparable dominance and abrupt removal from the league.

#fixed

I’m surprised it’s took you 4 years to finally beat the Zombie Leprechauns.

It's not a race, if you already won.

I’m like Sam Hinkie has Hinkie built a big enough cushion that Philly was able to coast to 3 titles before Colangelo ruined it.

True. You also share one other thing with Sam Hinkie....
