This entire season and playoffs were just the wonderful icing on the celtics cake. Ainge literally hasn't even started to cash in on the assets that we kicked off this rebuild with. We sometimes forget how awesome a position the celtics are in. 48 wins on a team built from hustle and coaching brilliance? Historically terrible at shooting and still win 2 playoff games against the worst 1st round matchup for us outside of cleveland? I think I will sleep pretty easy and be proud of the heart and hustle this group of players have shown.

Are you watching Durant?  You and a buddy can come to town and solve the celtics one glaring problem. Also bring a forklift because we don't want sully either.

Smart just had his 2nd airball in ten minutes.  So much promise.

Boy if I didn't know any better, I would think you don't like Marcus Smart.

And hey, Kobe airballed quite a few times against the Jazz in the WCF in the 90s. Not saying Smart is Kobe, but you shouldn't judge a guy off of two airballs in the playoffs.

at LEAST 3 out of bounds plays were called incorrectly by these Refs tonight....Automatically given to the Hawks---when they touched it last.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

KD you might be better off joining this Hawks team instead.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Are you seriously still ragging on Smart?  Him and JJ are the only 2 to come out with any energy tonight, how could you have any issue with him?

Down 20 and every other guy on the court is disinterested, Smart is still being aggressive.  Who cares if he airballs a 3 dude, give it a rest.
I know the participation trophy crowd think it's great that Smart tries hard (Good job. Good effort.) but results actually matter

He wasn't the reason we lost tonight.  4-10 for 11 points, 5 boards, 1 assist and 4 steals.  What's so wrong with that stat line in 30 minutes?  When I say trying hard I mean he was still forcing his way to the bucket, and getting there.

We have better fans.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Well could you please then tell us all what other airballing player he might become?

This is just a historically bad offensive team that is going to have to be overhauled in the off-season if the result is going to be any different next year.

Terrible, terrible shooting team.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
