I had this random thought,

With so much more value being currently placed on 1st and even 2nd round picks how will this effect the actual draft?

Will teams be more likely to trade out of the draft for future picks to maintain there pick stock piles?

What kind of value will future first have for teams trying to trade up for players?

Related to the celtics this leads me to wonder if DA will be able to parlay some of this stock pile of picks into moving up to grab players we wants. Obviously im not talking about moving say the ATL/NET pick into the top 5 this year. However say that pick is #18 how fare up the draft could a trade of #18 and the clippers pick get the Cs? The Cs used 2 future 2nds to move up 3 spots for KO. The Jazz traded #14 and #16 for #9. Could a late first move up 5-6 spots? The new CBA seems to have really driven up the value of picks and this may be another way all be it risky that the Celtics can take advantage.
