Patrick Ewing theory anyone?

Too soon?

Don't over react to one game against the Magic...

Soon we'll see "Celtics 1-0 without Thomas. Isn't it clear we're better without him?" posts, ala Rondo when he was still here
Seriously it's sickening to see this **** on here. Smart's had one good game and we are so quick to annoint him starting point guard. One bad game by IT and we are ready to bench him already. That's how bad the Smart bias is around here

Smart is awesome. But IT is our best offensive player.

Brown's been great these past couple of games

I like that Brad gives him more minutes when he's on his game. It gives good incentive for him
Thnaks but I dread the smart=all star and start brown threads tomorrow. ;D

IT is a legit all-star but it can no longer be denied that Smart becomes a much better player when he has the ball in his hands more and fires away from behind the arc less.  I'm not sure how that ends other than one of them getting traded.

It was a really tough day at work and I needed to just relax with a good old fashioned blowout. Keep it up guys!

There are those who like Smart and those who've been saying they'd like to see IT off the bench.  This game is definitely giving credence to those opinions, but this game isn't the genesis of those opinions.   I don't think anyone doesn't like IT -- just those who see his eventual best value as a sixth man scorer.

I actually believe we are a better team with Marcus starting but he has to show some consistency.  Having him play off the ball is good because it allows him to improve other parts of his game and we can use his versatility that way where Isaiah doesn't work that way so much.

We have both.  It's reallly not a big deal. They are both awesome.

Marcus is what 22 years old?  Patience people.  Isaiah can't play multiple positions like smart can off the bench.

You don't bring an All Star off the bench.

WE may actually trade Isaiah some day and start marcus but again patience people.  Why do we even need to do that right now? We could use a center but again patience.

It's a process.  We had Tiny and then Dj.  It's fine having both.

Let Marcus prove it.  Trading isaiah right now is silly.  They both can play and play big minutes on this team right now.

Jaylen Brown is already better than Jeff Green.

Great analysis by Scal about how to foul the right way.
