I don't understand those complaining about iso ball at the end games. Pierce was famous and beloved for going iso at the end of games to win them. Bird was no different. IT basically went iso the entire 4th quarter for an entire year.

Never heard a complaint from anyone.

Kyrie goes iso to help us win games and there is a strong, vocal, 6-8 posters that just have to complain. Even after Kyrie wins the game. I wonder if those same people complained about iso ball at the end of games when Bird, Pierce and IT were doing it.

Because some posters hate Kyrie.

only fools
LET'S GO CELTICS!

The game almost went OKC's way when Brown missed 2 FTs.

Celts were leading 119-112 when Brown was fouled and went to the FT line.
He missed both FTs and suddenly it was a close ball game.

Brown was pulled out by Brad after those two missed FTs.

The FTs has to improve for Jaylen Brown.
Otherwise he will never get a chance to play in the last 5 minutes of the 4th qtr.

Brown has been shooting his free throws a lot better as of late. The Celtics in general are the best free throw shooting team in the league. We are just not generating enough.

No reason to go dramatic and pull Brown out, because he missed 2 free throws once.

I think Brown would have stayed in the game if he didn't miss both.
He was playing well until those two missed FTs.

I don't think it's about how Kyrie plays, it's about they don't like Kyrie, plain and simple.

Bingo.

And let’s be real - Kyrie is a much better iso player than Pierce was. Either scoring for himself or breaking down the defense to create a great shot for a teammate.

Irving notched another 10-assist game, the team had 36 assists, and people complain the ball doesn’t move enough when Kyrie is in. Smh.

Can't wait for Kyrie to sign the max extension so that the unnecessary trade Kyrie threads are shut down for good.

Brown always comes out at about the 4-5 minute mark of the 4th. Sometimes later. If Brown did something stupid, I can see Stevens pulling him. For two missed free throws, you don't pull a player. No sense getting it into players heads that if you miss FTs you will be benched. That would only make things worse.

Also, Brown shots 70% from the line in December and 73% in January on 40 and 41 FTAs respectively. He is getting better.

Sorry, I don't like the way Kyrie closes a game out.

He stops moving the ball.

You were saying?  ;)

without the dribble, dribble turnovers, we don't need the miracle drive to the basket with 2 sec left on the shot clock

Wait, are you freaking serious? Kyrie has freaking 30 points on 14-19 shooting, 4 rebounds, and 11 assists to 4 turnovers. Your schtick is getting old.
Kyrie could win MVP and lead us to a 3 peat and some would hate him still

Imagine this team with a competent Hayward.

I’m trying to.

Hopefully Brown can get that FT% up to 75%.

He's been playing well off the bench.

I think he will be a starter again if the Celts trade Tatum for AD.

I respect your opinion, but who would you prefer in there?  Certainly not Rozier.

It's pointless.

If Kyrie didn't "dribble turnover", there would be another reason why Kyrie is bad for the Celts.
