Widows
what'd you think?  was interested in that one.   any good?
It is ok, but there are much better movies in that genre.  It was on HBO so I didn't pay for it (at least directly).  So if you have HBO and like that type of movie it is fine, but I wouldn't pay for it.
TP for the info.  had HBO but cancelled it about a month ago.  overpriced and I've seen almost all of their 'new' movies by the time they broadcast.
we have directv now for tv and HBO is only 5 bucks.  Worth that price for all of the shows and the movies I don't get to watch in the theater since I have young children.
I'll give directvnow another look.  I pick it up after every season so I can get ESPN to watch the draft and some summer league.  already cancelled it this season.

Watched both Aquaman and Bohemian Rhapsody over the weekend (both on HBO).  Both were enjoyable movies if you haven't seen them (yes I know strange I hadn't seen either).

The Favourite.  the acting was good and the beginning was fine but the end was disappointing to say the least.  made the whole work up to the end pointless

Little:
awful.  didn't have high expectations since it's a formula used by at least a dozen movies but I have to say this is probably the worst of the bunch.  previews of the movie didn't hold much promise and yet it still disappointed.

why'd I watch?  only 'recent' comedy I could get via my fire stick that I hadn't already seen and didn't have to pay for.  I just ended up paying with my time.

Watched "Space Seed" Star Trek episode from way back.

IMO the most important episode of the Star Trek movie franchise.

-Ulee's Gold-

I remembered it as being a very good movie and decided to watch it again in honor of Peter Fonda's passing.  It did not let me down, just a strong movie, stands up to time - it is a piece of life, well written, well acted, well made.  What quality low budget movies are all about.

IT Part 2

If you liked the book, you probably won’t like this.

Same thing if you liked Part I.

If you like poor CGI, and horror with more laughs than scares, you may dig this.  Ditto for those who like lots of exposition in a three hour movie that has noticeably cut a lot of the best source material.

There were plenty of good parts, especially the flashback scenes, but it was all a bit muddled and stretched out.

Blinded by the Light.  Fantastic movie about a Pakistani teenager dealing with racial and economic turmoil in England in '87.  All about Bruce Springsteen's music.  Don't miss this movie.

I agree with you..CGI was poorly done and movie was drag out for 3 hours..i give it 6 out of 10

Currently watching Carnival Row on Prime.

What a fantastic series so far.

Very Sherlock Holmes/Penny Dreadful sort of a vibe (Victorian London) but brilliantly acted and its all fantasy based (my personal favorite genre)

Prior that watched The Boys - Bloody Brilliant.

Does the book or movie ever explain why he’s a clown?

In the book it is because he likes the way children taste the most, also he likes he food seasoned with fear.

So the clown lures then scares his food.
