That was mesmerizing, a literal clinic almost like Pop's past teams .Just a clinic of subtle domination
I turned the sound off and just watched in silence.
That was three quarters of other worldly basketball.
This game was an art form, Toronto was transfixed, everyone that plays basketball knows how special this performance was.
Just beautiful basketball.

You are right Rollie. That display was  like the German machine that won the FIFA World Cup in 2014. I know its another sport but soccer enthusiasts will understand exactly what I mean. Magnificent team work, Good job by Brad and the players.

  • Yup
The defense was amazing.  Offense too, but the defense was so deliberately forceful and disruptive.  Very few easy shots allowed.
Yup

They had been playing too individualistically prior to Nets win....even a bit selfishly.

From the start of this game they played as a TEAM, a UNIT!!

Bring the all up....establish connection with each other....then attack....excellent.

Defensive focus & energy.  They were active on the ball, but even better with their help and rotations.  I'm a big fan of well-played team man-to-man defense, which was the main reason I enjoyed the '08 team so much. Now THAT was beautiful team defense led by Kevin Garnett and coached up by Thibs. That team purposely overplayed the ball-side of the court and could do that because they were so good at helping and rotating correctly. Team defense on a string, each player connected. I hope this team understands how important their defense is to winning games and to helping them generate offense. Seems to get them in that teamwork mode.
