They've been vague on the time, just have said the latter half of the the hour.

Cool, on my drive home they didn't say a time. Must have clarified it while I was unloading my car.

Jalen Rose just had a very thoughtful breakdown of the first round matchups.  He thinks  no upsets first round.  ( on Mike & Mike/ESPN2/8:30 )

Miami Heat (president? Owner?  missed who...) said Miami will do whatever is necessary to keep Wade in Miami.  Does this mean that LeBron is going to Miami? (Joking, sort of...)

I know many of my friends here have mixed feeling about Coach Rivers, but I LOVE DOC!

Nothing all that notable:

Hasn't decided on whether he'll continue to coach
Dwayne Wade is the second best player out of Marquette
Injuries derailed chemistry and rhythm
Celtics were inconsistent
Limiting minutes made inconsistency harder to address
Thought the team played hard

I sure hope they didn't, because if this season was them playing hard, then we have no hope whatsoever in the playoffs.

I think we should stop talking about the team's effort as if each player gives equal effort. I'm not sure I accept the idea that KG takes any games off. I also think Ray Allen plays at a very consistent, efficient effort level. I'm not sure I can ever point to TA not going full bore, though this sometimes leads to some very ugly plays.

Sheed, Rondo, and Pierce are the guys I might wonder about. Perhaps Perk if he is in a foul mood.

after listening to his interview and his non-denial, I'm more convinced than ever that he's leaning towards stepping down this summer

he didn't shoot down the rumor in any way as far as I'm concerned

I listened to that interview. Needless to say I was not encouraged. There seems to be a story yet to be told about this team. Unfortunately we'll all just sit around and nod our heads.

:)  The next season that the Celtics are doing really well (or at least overachieving) I promise I'll be a super optimist.

Can't say that I would blame him.  This team looks like it's going to have to get significantly worse before it gets better.  Sounds like Doc would rather not have to go through the decline before the eventual upswing a few years from now.

He's got to feel a little bit futile about how things have gone this year; it seems he's tried his hardest but has had a really tough time getting through to this team much at all.
