The First Purge. About as expected. The first half was decent, the second half (the part with most of the action) was boring, I thought.
I can't ever watch or hear about a Purge movie without thinking about how many insane white-collar crimes would be going on behind closed doors while all the rubes are throwing on Day-Glo and hacking each other up with machetes.
File that away for when they start running out of sequel ideas.
The Purge: Boardroom
The whole thing is like Glengarry Glen Ross except there's constant gunfire and screaming happening outside that everyone ignores. The pressure is superhigh because if you're fired during the Purge they don't have to pay your severance package.
But also do you want to fire someone on the day when murder is legal? So maybe you just murder them?
This thing writes itself.
