Another imperfect, but fairly easy win for the C's.  They came out cranking and were really toying with Utah, but no House off the bench and in ill conceived combo in the 2nd quarter led to some seriously sloppy play and the Jazz stormed back.  Anytime you can turn the ball over 23 times and not have to sweat it out in the end, you've got to be happy.

The Celts are simply that good.  They can suck for long stretches and still  beat good teams.  Not necessarily what we'd prefer to see, but comforting nonetheless.

Another career night for Rondo.  Perk was beast and maybe deserves his play of the year for not getting a T on the call where he picked up his 4th foul for playing a the receiving end of Okur's battering ram.  KG was awesome - very aggressive on offense.  Nice to see Pruitt step in and be productive too.

My votes:  Rondo 3 KG 2 Perk 1

If you need an explanation on the poll, make up your own rules and enjoy.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
rondo 3
perk 2
garnett 1

rondo was outstanding, especially down the stretch...needs to work on his free throws.

perk was a presence in the middle...tommy even referred to okur as a "lump of nothing" while trying to stop perk.  perk looked like a player tonight, not just a mechanical big man.

KG got one vote because he's, well, KG.  we probably take him for granted, but he was good all the way around.

nice win...(gee, that phrase doesn't get old!).

rondo 3: needs no explanation

KG 2: solid all around effort, couldve give the 2 to Perk also

Gabe 1: Perk deserved it but, the kid deserves some love for providing a little spark in eddie's absences
Looking for a Sig designer....obviously i will be greatful with tps.

Looking for a Wire - Rondo theme....PM with ideas and I'll tp

Rondo 3 (flirted with another triple double, took it to the hole and showed that he IS a scoring threat)

KG 2 (another day at the office)

Perk 1 ( a few bad calls on him prevented him from getting 20 rebounds, is really developing into the beast we know he is)

Gabe's on the board!  This means I can finally delete either Pollard or Posey from the template on my spreadsheet from last year...hmmmm...I think I'll give Posey the axe (I didn't like the way tried to hurt that brick wall he ran into the other night).  It's the little things that get me excited  ::)

Perk - 3
Rondo - 2
KG - 1

Perk kept the game tied in the last few minutes of the second quarter. He grabbed a ton of hustle rebounds and provided some important points to avoid the Jazz from building a decent lead after the Celtics fell flat.

Rondo outplayed Deron Willaims, enough said. KG was his usual self!
