How do I insert an image directly into my post

Well, that pretty much says it all. How do I insert an image directly into the post, as opposed to putting it in as an attachment.

I tried saving it on imgur and using the image shortcut above, but that doesn't seem to work.

I also tried adding ".jpg" at the end, but still didn't get anything. Here is the link I used (which should show the image of the Garden):

Your problem is that imgur isn't a direct picture link. The link you tried using is a page, not a picture.

Open the link you used, right click on the image and copy image address. Use that.
