Smart and Avery are playing amazing D in this quarter.

Also, Bobby Portis can PLAY.  Dude is a scorer.

Marcus has a legitimate claim to being our best player this series so far.
Get in line after IT like everyone else. Also get behind Gerald Green.

Isaiah, Al, Gerald, Marcus have been the 4 for me.

Id probably put Marcus 4th in terms of impact.

But wouldn't you guys rather have Julius Randle?!
1 for 5? 7 rebs. A block. 3 Tos. 3 fouls.  Can't stop Jimmy Butler or D Wade. Can't post up over Isaiah Cannan? Yeah I think Randle could handle that.

+11 in a crucial road playoff game.
+/- is a worthless statistic. Avery is a +4 tonight. Jerebko is a +1.  +/- means nothing whatsoever.

Not entering in the Randle/Smart debate, but I think +/- is a stat that actually says a lot.

I'd probably agree with that

And for Stevens being ballsy enough to put Green in as starter!!

Dear Jimmy,

You are not winning a championship in Chicago.

Thanks,

Chief

How about in Boston ?

You add him for AB, 2018 Nets pick, Memphis pick, Clippers pick .... you got something.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Randle can't defend his position.

maybe over a season, but not in a game-game basis.

You're reading the stat wrong. +1 in a game that we're winning by 11 is bad. As is +4 in big minutes. +11 in an 11 point game is very good
I'm bitter.

Yeah, that's a BS foul call for Butler, but Crowder has to be freaking smarter than that. He's really, really tried my patience in the last couple of months with his total lack of BBIQ.
