TP to you FL let's continue this playoff push

A Pacers loss and Celtic win would put us in 7th?  :P

Ugghh, and a first-round nightmare matchup against Cleveland. I'm good with eighth! ;D

+1.  That's the definition of a Pyrhic Pyrhhic, um, unwanted victory. ;)

Hope it's not a trap game!

Don't jinx it. Last time I post something similar, the team lost.

I was at the game last year when Evan Turner beat us with the last-second lay-up.  Let's hope that we have better luck this year, with him on our side.  I'll be there again tonight!

Unfortunately, LeBron may be out versus Miami tonight.  Cleveland is still a much better team.

Mike

This time, Evan Turner will beat us with a last-second lay-up into the wrong basket.

Trap game  ;)

These games always scare me as well.  I thought we would crush LA and we did not.

To my eternal shame, I have never seen Semi-Pro.

Wroten is out... pretty much the only person on that roster that could have hurt us.

This one has all the makings of a trap game, given how the C's have played recently.  Big thing is for Brad to quickly determine who feels like playing tonight and go with them because they won't all show up.

Really hope Nerlens Noel has one of his inconsistent performances with a lot of balls fumbling off his hands and bricked free throws. This board is already overflowing with people idolizing him and a good game would make him unbearable.

Philly seems to be trying to lose every game, so we should win. Will be interesting to see how their Center corp does..

Very true. I think he's going to be really good and would love to have him, but a lot of people have been unjustifiably praising him like he's on Anthony Davis' level or something.

Kuberski33, you're totally right, too. Stevens does seem a bit slow to determine who showed up to play on a given night. Hopefully IT is good to go for this game and we put it away early and KEEP it that way lol

I've been thinking the same thing all day. This has trap written all over it.

A team that was truly maturing would take care of business, especially in front of the home fans.

Count me in for this game scaring me a bit.  Despite the more recent winning ways of this team, if there's any commonality within this last 10-12 game stretch, especially in this win streak, it's that they play up to the great teams and play down to the inferior teams.

So I'm expecting this game to be similar to the last time we played the Knicks...pretty close in the first 2 and a half to 3 quarters and then the Celtics will pull away in the 4th.  But gotta be careful, from what I've heard and seen, this Sixers has been playing better recently.  It's not necessarily translating to wins, but they are playing better.

Philly is trying a new PG every week.
Latest one is Ish Smith.
The key idea of the post-MCW Sixers is throwing lots of 3s.

I spend a lot of time at Liberty Ballers and not even Philly fans call him the next Anthony Davis or anything close to that. His offensive game is very raw, he has scissor hands, and can barely shoot the ball.
Having said this, he is has the potential to develop into an excellent shot blocker and this is nothing to scoff at. Hinkie (Ainge apart lol) is the hardest NBA GM to understand, but so far it looks like he considers Noel as a building block for the future, which says a lot.
