major choke job

Some teams just find a way, time after time.

Genetic predisposition?  ;)

SEA - CAR -- What a bizarre game.

0-31 beatdown in the first half.

24-0 beatdown in the second half.

Really is tough to play at 10 am Pacific Time when you're a West Coast team on the East Coast.

It'll be such an amazing gift if the Steelers beat the Broncos.

Neither team looking trmendously impressive in the Pitt-Den game.  I am torn re: who to root for as these are the 2 NFL franchises I dislike most.  Logic says the Pats are better off playing Pittsburgh at home next week.   But Denver is looking not so good today and Pittsburgh is winning so far without A. Brown or D. Willams (both I think might be back next week).

Looking for advice from fellow Pats fans -- who would you rather play next week?

You're sure?  Broncos looking like the worst of the 2 teams so far.

I'm tired of the media kissing Peyton Manning's HGH injected butt, so yeah, I would love to see the Steelers end his season tonight.

I hear you about Peyton.  Right now he's a stunningly brilliant 16-29 for 140 with 0 TDs.

I like Pat's chances at Gillette against anyone.

Interesting stat just now -- Denver has not produced a TD in the last 20 (now 21) post-season possessions.

I am leaning toward wanting to play Denver despite the travel.  Steelers look tougher than the Broncos.

Denver finally got a touchdown—the first in its last 23 possessions.

NG, I might be leaning the same way as you—I'd rather have the Pats at home, but Denver hasn't looked very good. I expected Denver to win this in a runaway—what with the Steelers missing their best receiver and top two running backs—but the Broncos have struggled.

A healthier Rothlesberger, Brown and Williams and this Steelers team may be very tough to beat.   It's never easy in Denver, but they are vulnerable at QB and without a deep threat (Manning's arm), the Pats have an nice advantage.

I'm rooting for a very cold day in Denver next Sunday.

Manning is no longer what he used to be, for sure, and the Pats have Edelman and Gronk to spread the defense (a defense which wasn't all that impressive against the undermanned Steelers). I'm optimistic.
