An outside-the-box way of looking at things which player do you think has the deep down determination to become a special player.

 For me

Trae Young first. He's tiny but he's got the eye of the tiger.
Bagley. Unreal motor. Players extremely hard.
Luka Doncic. I think the kid does have the fire.

Doncic or Bagley could be special. It's funny that the assumption that majority of people think Ayton will be the best draft pick, but him and Young are the biggest bust potentials in my eye.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply

I really think people just look at success and then insert "desire to be great" "alpha dog" "insert other cliche" into a narrative about that player.

Work ethic is hugely important, but it is rare for players to make the NBA while being lazy or lackadaisical. Hard working players with the desire to be great are the rule in the NBA, lazy players are the exception.

Ayton fits that description to a T.

I just dislike his attitude. Bagley/Doncic seem like hard working players who desire to be great.

Yeah I get that, if you think a player looks to be lazy its tough to want them no matter the talent.

The NBA is too hard, and the competition is too intense to succeed if you don't have the work ethic.
