we traded for a true PG rondo ang get a 1st pick and now looking for another pg who is not better than rondo + we send 1st pick again?

and smart is not yet pg ready?
danny ainge whats the point?
1st round pick and those filler players?

is thomas better than rondo?
or rondo is getting older and needs to help a contending team
and a pg like thomas is young so he fits a rebuilding or tanking team?

isnt it that if we surrounded rondo with talents we are better?
example

trade wallace and pressey and powell to portland for leonard and robinson and picks
trade bass and faverani to houston for 2nd round pick garcia and motiejonas
trade green to charlotte for biyombo stephenson and 1st pick

rondo stephenson smith robinson zeller/olynyk

bradley thorton turner sullinger motiejounas

young pressey leonard biyombo
garcia to a 3rd team

something like that
after the season make more trades

Think you're highly overvaluing our players

Also, that roster is outdated  ;)
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

when has reality ever been a key factor in discussions here at cb?  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

At this rate Danny might find a way to trade himself to a contender for yet another 1st rounder :-P

Perkins has said quite explicitly that Rondo wanted out. They are close. I believe Perk.

What are you talking about??
Can someone translate that??
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Point is:

Cap Management
Cap flexibility
Scouting
Assets
Patience

It all adds up to a championship contender.  He built one earlier for us with less.  Nobody here is betting against him now that he's got more at his disposal.
