That's a significant hike, but based on the resale market, they could charge at least double what they are now and still sell out.  It's insane.  I end up dropping about $1k (excluding hotels and travel costs) when I take my family to a game.

9.8%.

I got slammed last year so I really can't complain.

That playoff invoice, though.  Wow.

Crap, I didn't even notice that. 75% of the total of my full season invoice (if we play every game).

I'd love to go back and check my ticket stubs (remember those) from the '08 Finals and compare price to this year.  It's had to have gone up almost 300% in less than 20 years.

My increase was 14% vs. 26%

Its tough because they are starting to price me out where I can afford to go as much as I would enjoy to, and they are starting to flag accounts that sell too many tickets.

It's certainly not the time to give up seats so need to just figure it out.

For Jb and others who are getting 'warned', I guess, for flipping too many tickets: is there a point do you decide to punt on your seats totally?

I'm pretty happy only watching the games from home, and have been for a year or two after the Big 3 era started, and it's not as if the broadcast quality has become worse, especially in light of the price increase you all are referencing.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

Hey JBP. What are you hearing, or what do you know, about accounts getting flagged / warnings for “excessive” ticket reselling?

I can't remember what the percentage is (20%? 25%?) but I know there is a threshold on percentage of your tickets sold on resale that will get you flagged and/or get your season tickets yanked.
