Close enough to draft time to open this thing up for discussion/analysis/pick talk/etc.

I'll try to stay on top of the draft board as much as I can tonight (at least for the 1st round).  Sometimes blog traffic gets pretty nuts around here (especially near Celtics picks) so it's not the easiest.

Enjoy tonight and remember we can all look back at this thread in a couple of years and look at how stupid some of us were!  ;)

Does anyone know when the picks start? I saw that it begins at 7 pm but I assume that is just the ESPN coverage and not the actual picks.

The only thing I know for sure about this draft night is that I will miss Bill Simmons. Other than that I have no idea what will happen.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I might have the last bottle of a locally brewed wheat beer (Carmel Wheat Beer) I bought a six-pack of last week.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

going to be a wild ride after the third pick.  I hope we don't have to hear Kenny and Barkley talk

Simmons will be missed
