An hour late, and not necessarily new topic worthy but the second oldest man in the NBA, 15 year veteran, Kurt Thomas has agreed to terms with the Chicago Bulls. I know he was a favorite choice for our fifth big.

Sam Smith had it first and ESPN is now confirming.

Looks like Bulls found a veteran big. Sources say the Bulls have an agreement with Kurt Thomas.

I just took a look at his stats. He played over 1000 minutes and he only took 15 free throws all year. Wow.

Centers -- Joakim Noah + Omar Asik
Power Forwards -- Carlos Boozer + Taj Gibson

It doesn't look like the Bulls were offering Kurt Thomas any sort of meaningful role / playing time.

Another good signing for the Bulls.  Wouldn't have minded bringing him in for the vet min.

I don't think Asik is really ready to pencil in as the backup center yet.  So, I think Thomas will get plenty of time there.
