Marc Stein reports that it's a three year deal worth nearly $15 million.

Seems like a lot of money, especially that 3rd year, although it's only partially guaranteed. Considering Miller is one of the few remaining free agent centers out there, I guess Houston had to make a big offer.

Nice add for them. They now have 3 skilled passers on the frontline (with Yao and Scola) and Miller will limit Yao's minutes.

Haha, that is hilarious! $15 million! Wow!

At least they'll have a good trade asset in two years time.

Unfortunately, that's the market.

It gives some perspective to the J.O. deal.  The two deals are for about the same average annual salary, and there's really no denying that J.O. is the better player.

I really would have liked to been able to get Brad Miller along with Jermaine, but I guess that is not possible with this market.

Lol does that mean that they would be more willing to trade battier? Battier played the 3 and 4 so his time as a 4 could be gone as you could put Miller at the 4

So, that leaves Shaq, I think.

Atlanta seems to have backed off on talks to acquire him. Where will he end up?

I think it's really high time for Shaq to hang it up and retire.

JO deal is looking better and better with every day. I wouldn't pay 34 y.o Brad Miller that much.

While I didn't see a ton of Chicago games this year, I thought Miller had quite a dropoff from the year before. That doesn't really bode well for the next 2-3 years. I thought the fact that it kept us from giving Miller a deal like this was a big benefit from the JO deal.
