Well, I am sure that will help them resign Melo.  5 years for a guys that has already lost more then one step.

  • Rondo = Good
Although that'll help the Nuggets a lot this next year - J.R. and Harrington make the best two-man scoring punch off the bench in the league - it'll really hurt them a few years from now, especially if Melo leaves next summer.

They are two of the biggest volume shooters off the bench.  Both took over 1000 shots last year.  Where are they going to get that many shots together?

Agreed. You really can only have 1 volume scorer on the floor at a time unless the other can either:
a. play well off ball(which neither of them do)
b. rebound(which neither of them do)
c. defend(which neither of them do)

At least J.R. Smith the previous two years was a good shooter, last year was a disaster though.  :(

It'll be fun times in Denver!

Al Harrington: Yo my Tweeples. Appreciate the Love and Concern. But I'm taking my Talents to the MILE HIGH. Lol. Love Yall Lego DENVER!! Brett Meeny THX! Twitter

Saw this on Hoopshype. Nice signing for the Nuggets. They have a lot of offense on that team now. If they get down and defend their window might be open a little wider this year and next.

So much for a minimum deal.  Looks like he got the full MLE over 5 years.

Dumb move.

what's with the new trend of "I'm talking my talents to..." line? Looks like everyone is saying it this offseason. I think I will use it too when I talk to my boss, maybe I'll get a crazy deal as well.

The ink will not be dry on this contract before denver starts regretting it.  In the meanwhile, I'm taking my talents to the office kitchen to get another cup of coffee.
