Love and Basketball or The Princess Bride

I wouldn't say The Princess Bride is a chick flick.  That's just a [dang] good movie.

I can't stand the Princess Bride at all and don't understand what people like about the film, but "to each his own" i suppose.

My fav chick flicks (in no particular order) are:

1. Mean Girls (drop-dead hilarious and rings true)
2. The Heartbreak Kid (the debut of Kenny Powers!)
3. Along Came Paulie (if not for the jen aniston naked shot alone, it's also a hilarious film)

You can't go wrong with any of those.

Along Came Polly is a classic.  I love that movie.  It's about a relationship but I don't know if I'd call it a chick flick.

It's a pure love story which also happens to be hilarious.

aka it's a Romantic Comedy

Romantic Comedy = chick flick

I refuse to say that I am an ex-chic....old chick maybe  ;D and that is MY partial list of favorite movies.  If you want to start a list of least favorite, I have those, too.  Add to the like list...Phenomenon, and almost anything with Travolta.

Travolta... really? No one ruins a movie more for me, I really can't stand him in anything after Pulp Fiction, oh well, to each his/her own.

And you don't? :) I think I have already explained that Casablanca is a chick flix back on pages 2 and 3 of this tread. I don't know why people refuse to accept it and move on.

I only cried the first time. But hey, I'm a guy, and I'd rather be watching The Road Warrior anyway.
