Chemistry plays a part in a teams success as much as actual talent. Sometimes too many similar type players needing minutes isn't a good thing. The "young guys" are stepping up...as much as they can. We weren't blessed with young players that matured quickly. The jury is still out on Tatum and Brown. We don't have a D. Fox, or a Devin Booker.
The Pacers (with Oladipo), Bucks, Raptors just simply play together better than we do. (76ers I'm not sure)
You don't think Anthony Davis will make a difference if we're able to keep Kyrie and do a little tweaking...think again.
Chemistry is nice, but pretty overrated.
You can have the happiest and most cohesive unit you can imagine, but if they aren’t talented they won’t go anywhere.
It takes a special kind of dissension to mess up a team oozing with talent. It happens, but it’s not common. This might not be the most complimentary roster we’ve ever assembled, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be.
You don’t have to like your teammates, but you have to know how to play with them and trust what they are good at. And it’s on the coaching staff to get everyone on the same page, and out players in a position to maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses.
We will see, starting Sunday, where we stand.
