Knicks are very short-handed. Boston should win this game comfortably.

Sadly, short-handed opponents and comfortable wins don't always go hand in hand.

Can we clinch the division tonight with a win over the Knicks and a loss by the Sixers?

Right now we're 4 games up on both teams.  If we beat the Knicks and the Sixers lose, we'll be 5 games up on them with 4 games left to go.  Right?

Let's get the Atlantic.  And once we do, let's focus on the Eastern Conference!!  GO CELTICS.
You are correct, if we win and Sixers lose we get the division.  Unfortunately though, a loss for the Sixers would be a win for the Pacers.

Doesn't matter. We aren't getting the 3 seed at this point. Guess we'll just have to get past Chicago first before facing Miami, that is if we beat ATL.

I want to see Avery and Rondo make life miserable for Baron Davis.

Shouldn't be too difficult.  Luke Ridnour can make Baron's life miserable.

Here in NYC, ppl are still clinging to hope that the knicks can go 6-0 and the celts go 0-5 for the knicks to win the division ::). Let's shut that down tonight! Come on Celtics!

They really think we can lose to a short-handed Orlando Magic and a Milwaukee Bucks team? Their hopes will falter tonight when we get our revenge for Christmas day!

#CelticsTalk: #Celtics will be without Ray Allen and Mickael Pietrus (knee) tonight vs #Knicks. Allen's ankle is swollen again.

Looking forward to this game. Go C's

Ray Allens ankle swells up within a few hours of him being cleared to play?

Wow.

I understand that allen probably wants to come back, but if hes not 100% yet he needs to sit out until he is..

I'm actually OK with these 2 for 10-20 minutes each when needed... in the regular season anyway.

I still think the C's should take this game. Unleash the disrupters! (Rondo, Bradley, Garnett)

Shootaround can do that, I guess. Mick out too, "new" injury, knee. That concerns me more.

Yea, I'm starting to really worry about Ray now. This sounds like something that will be a problem until the off-season.

Lets shut down Ray until the playoffs. Get that ankle right. If the C's lose home court in round 1, who cares. Its not worth losing Ray in the playoffs. The C's will handle Atlanta or Orlando, home or away.

#CelticsTalk: Just to clarify, #Celtics Ray Allen says the ankle has not swollen up again. He says moving laterally is the problem now.
