So the season is essentially over and I have to come clean.

I wanted the Celtics to pick Shane Larkin in the 2013 NBA draft .  So how is he doing for Dallas?

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/l/larkish01.html#per_game::none

G   MP   FG%   3P%   TRB   AST   STL   TOV   PTS
45   10.7   .373   .297   0.9   1.6   0.6   0.9   2.8

So um...yeah, room for improvement.

Who did you want?  How are they doing?

Be honest!   ;D

I was most intrigued by Dennis Schroeder.

According to basketball-reference, he's averaging 10-5-3.5 per 36, but he's only playing 13 minutes a game in real life for 3.8-1.8-1.2

I wanted Olynyk and I feel good about them making the pick, I am happy with who they got. If we were to redraft I probably would want either Olynyk, the Greek Freak or Gorgui Dieng.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

This was my break down position by position with tiers before the last draft.

Update

5/20/13 [post combine]
I am going to rank each position leading up to the draft.

Added positional Tiers to my rankings

blue = new player added
red = dropped in ranking
green = moved up

PG
1st
1. Trey Burke (well rounded pg)
2nd
2. M Carter-Williams (big pass first PG)
3. CJ Mccollum (big time scorer combo guard)
4. Dennis Schroeder (long athletic german pg)
3rd
5. Shane Larkin ( another JJ Barea?)
6. Erick Green (scoring 1/2)
7. Nate Wolters (big PG some teams are really high on)
4th
8. Seth Curry (not really a point but steve kerr like pro)
9.  Pierre Jackson (Small but very effecting PG)
10. Lorenzo Brown (big PG)
11. Myck Kabongo (solid future backup point)

Having seen the measurements there are a lot of guys in this class who are really in the middle of 2-3 (guys who are 6'6 with 6'9+ wingspans and 8'7 + reaches)

SG
1st
1. Ben McLemore (best chance to be all star)
2. Victor Oladipo (lock down wing defender)
2nd
3. Allen Crabbe (great size + shooter)
4. Caldwell-Pope (solid size + shooter
5. Tim Hardaway (well rounded SG + good size)
3rd
6. Archie Goodwin (high potential)
7. Jamaal Frankin (long and athletic)
8. Ricky Ledo (http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=64155.0)
4th
9. Tony Snell (great profile for a D-3 wing)
10. B.J. Young (soph but only 19, great in open court)
11. Nemanja Nedovic (super athletic euro combo guard)

SF
1st
1. Otto Porter (well rounded player)
2. Shabazz Muhammad (2/3 physical scorer)
2nd
3. Sergey Karasev (great shooting 3/2, pro experience)
4. Dario Saric (ball handling 3/4)
5. Giannis Adetokunbo (Greek mystery SF next batum?)
6. Glen Rice Jr. (Great D League playoffs should move him into first round)
7. Reggie Bullock (well rounded 3/2, solid bench wing)
3rd
8. Livio Jean-Charles (raw,long french 3/4, energy guy)
9. Andre Roberson (hustle player great athlete + RBer)
10. Deshaun Thomas (tweener but he can score)
11. James Ennis (good size and athleticism played well against good teams in college
12. CJ Leslie (poor mans Hakim Warrick)

PF
1st
1. Anthony Bennett (better brandon bass)
2. Cody Zeller (lacks length for center)
3. Mason Plumlee (solid running PF)
2nd
4. Tony Mitchell (super athlete, questionable skill)
3rd
5. Jackie Carmichael (smaller sully?)
6. Ryan Kelly (matt bonner 2.0 but bigger 9'2 standing reach)
4th
7. Eric Murphy (stretch 4)
8. Trevor Mbakwe (4/5 defensive role player)
9. Kenny Kadji (big athletic stretch 4, not as productive as physical profile would suggest already 25.)

C
1st
1. Nerlens Noel (elite defensive big, larry sander like, weight and injurys red flags)
2. Alex Len (ideal size athleticism lacks consistency)
2nd
3. Kelly Olynyk (solid offensive center, lacks length)
4. Rudy Gobert (insane length, super high potential)
5. Gorui Dieng (great physical profile, little potential)
3rd
6. Steve Adams (very raw defensive big man)
7. Lucas Nogueira (long very athletic 5)
8. Jeff Withey (great shot blocker, Greg Steimsma 2.0?)
4th
9. Mouhammadou Jaiteh (raw french big man)
10.Mike Muscala (well rounded center)
12.Colton Iverson (big body

With all set said I remember hoping the Cs would take a flyer on Golbert.

another interesting read looking back on the draft

Chad ford almost nailed the Cs plan,

I was interested in Dieng, Olynyk, Giannis, Schroeder, and Muhammad.  Out of that bunch, I'd say there's a good chance Kelly ends up the most valuable.

Weak draft crop overall.

Same for me. Looked like Rondo with a 3-point shot. I still think he will make it in the NBA.

Second wishes in that order were Adams, Giannis and Dieng.

Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

wanted Dieng.  was bummed they traded for Olynyk but can see why Danny picked him.  I think he can be a good rotation big off the bench

I have to say -- I did like Mason Plumlee.   He looks like a good get for the Nets.  Already a productive energy guy.

Was really high on Steven Adams. But, even with Kelly playing only an extra 4 minutes per game, he is much better in most statistical categories. ...the right move by Trader Dan.

I wanted Olynyk 100% and I was thrilled to get him. I also hated Antetokoumpo and Dieng.

My second choice was Shabazz. Seems like we dodged a bullet there, although I don't think we've heard the last of him.

In hindsight, I'm pretty happy. If we had it to do over again, I'd take Antetkoumpo of coure. As for Dieng, I'm very surprised with what he is doing right now, but I'm not sold to the point that I'd prefer him to Olynyk.

I wanted to trade the pick since the draft was so weak. To which at that point I didn't really care who we selected. If we were keeping the pick...

I really liked Giannis as the unknown prospect guy. His videos had me in awe around this time last year. I also liked Nogueria for some reason, knowing we would stash him overseas a couple years.

I also liked Dieng but didnt want to pick him because I didnt think his impact would be immediate and I didnt want to wait 5 or 6 years for someone to develop. (Which is strange looking at how I liked those other two prospects).

Michael Carter Williams. Said it from the time he started shining at the end of the Big East Playoffs, through the NCAAs and up until the draft. Was salivating over an MCW, Rondo, Bradley back court.
