Agree that Simmons is overrated.

I think everybody is a bit too harsh on Simmons. He's very good in bringing the ball over the half court line.

When I see Philly get beat by a team like the Nets, it just makes me think of how overrated our playoff run was last year.

We played at a 48 win pace, barely beat a poorly coached 44 win Bucks team in 7 games... knocked off a woefully unprepared dysfunctional Philly team... and then took LeBron to 7 games - which is less impressive when you realize Indiana also took LeBron to 7 games in Round 1 (and actually outscored them over the series), Bron ended up getting completely swept in the finals, and failed to even take a team to the playoffs this year.

Thank the basketball gods we have Kyrie and Hayward back.  Anyone who thinks we'd actually compete in the playoffs without those two based on last year's success is off base.

this is so not true.... you play the team matched up against you. Celtics beat up on all the teams they faced you cannot take anything away from them.

We were 1-7 on the road. To say we "beat up" teams is a massive stretch.

How about Jared Dudley and Jeff Green as third-string centers next year for the minimum?

I am at the point where I expect over acting every time Lowry gets hit.

Lowry acting like he just got a vasectomy.

That's what you should do when you can't avoid the charge, just run through the guy at full speed with your knee upfront.
He'll think twice next time about taking a charge. Good play by Ross.

Embiid takes 18 free throws and Jimmy Butler takes 15 and Philly still loses.

Tobias Harris goes 2-7 from the floor for 4 points in 41 minutes. The Philly bench was non-existent except for Boban.

Philly is still so much more talented, I imagine they come back and win the series easily but this is so great for Brooklyn. After everything Brooklyn has done for us, I'd love to see them have a nice playoff run.

Idk a about Philly. For all of the talk about our chemistry, Philly always seems like they're on the brink.

other than home court or if we could have been 1st seed and had detroit 1st rnd, i don't agree.  If we were 2cd then toronto would be 3rd and in our bracket, if we were 3rd then we'd be playing the nets instead of indy and toronto potentially 2cd round.  i wish we were playing better/Smart was healthy but other than that i like where we sit.

Thoughts:

-- Philly gonna trade Ben Simmons

-- Kyle Lowry does not like the playoffs and I don't quite understand it.
