I think Samaric is a tremendous prospect and most teams who pass on him will regret it.

Yeah, A 6'11" guy who moves like a guard  and can shoot is a good prospect. I could even seeing him moving up after workouts.

He doesn't move like a guard on defense.

He is Jerekbo right now. I don't think he goes early than 25.

i agree. this guy seems to be quite skilled and i would not mind the celtics getting him in the draft. tps for both you for spotting him.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think he looks more like becoming a more athletic higher potential version of Mirotic than Jerebko.

Yeah; his measurables are intriguing and he played well in the scrimmages. His shuttle run, max vertical leap and three-quarter court sprint that all rated inside the top five of draft-eligible players at his position.

Samanic and NAW.

Then whatever.

Alexander walker
Brown
Tatum
Samanic
Horford

Smart/hayward/morris/baynes/williams off bench
Boom. 10 years of winning basketball.

That would be my picks aswell, but ultimately I would like to have a true big at the center position. But maybe the timelord can become a building block in time.

Yeah, that would be the hope.
But there are other options to stack the center deck too.

I mean if NAW at 14, Samanic at 20, there are still true centers available at 22.

Also there is the ability to offer full non taxpayer MLE to a Center

Whiteside if he opts out might very well want to bet himself on a 1 year deal (would be a good player for Williams to learn from)

Dedmon is a solid option for Center, would create a very good rebounding, defensive, 3pt shooting front court sliding Horford to the PF spot.

and IMO, another little Binkie of mine, and a player who is poised for a breakout, and a player who might get lost in Finances even though he is a restricted free agent, is Thomas Bryant. Only 21, good 3pt shooter, great rebounder, great size, great defense, super motor.  Washington is in bad salary cap situation as evidenced by this article

https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/wizards/after-breakout-season-thomas-bryant-wants-stay-wizards-why-would-i-want-leave

Washington already has Dwight and Mahinmi under contract for a combined 20 million next season, need to reup Satoransky and Dekker and Portis, and will have a draft pick to sign, they will be up over the Cap. (they would be over 90 million with just Beal, Wall, Mahinmi, Howard, Brown Junion and their draft pick)

I could seee Bryant being pried away with a nice backloaded Contract starting at full MLE (9.6 mill) year 1 and jumping to a 15 mill or so by year 3. (4th year team option)
