We’re not as good as this team. And we have no answer for the Joker, none whatsoever.

Nobody does, you beat him by outscoring him and making actually work on defense. The guards along with Tatum need to actually show up in the 2nd half.

At least we will stop having to hear about how unacceptable it will be if the Celtics don’t win it all this year. I mean, Denver is clearly better than we are.

If we do meet in the Finals, we better hope we win all our home games because we aren’t winning in Denver

Well, that was a dismal end of the half. White is definitely not having one of his better games… First, he makes a mess of that last possession compound his error by hanging his head instead of running back right away after the miss, then they let Jokic make a simple mid range shot

10:35 JB Offensive rebound
10:33 JB Misses driving layup
10:30 JB Offensive rebound
10:30 JB Misses tip shot
10:29 JB Offensive rebound
10:29 JB Misses tip shot
10:29 JB Offensive rebound
10:29 JB Makes two point shot and fouled.

Thats a stretch that will help your rebound numbers but hurt your TS%.

I've always thought they shouldn't count tip misses as FG attempts.

Rough schedule right now. Cleveland, tonight and at phoenix look like possible losses.

Just getting exposed somewhat. Not surprised about tonight at all. Could see them coming

And it's like we've completely went away from putting Jokic in the PnR. I don't understand it. We're searching out the other mismatches with Murray and Porter, but we've hardly done anything with putting him in the PnR and making him actually work, despite how successful we were with that last game. I don't understand it.

Celtics getting outclassed by the Nuggets so far. They need to play smarter.

They’re off ball Movement is just at a different level to ours… They’re always cutting to the basket getting behind the defense, and it makes it easy for Joker to find them. They have a more varied offense than we do

That said we’ve made two more threes than they have both teams shooting 25% from downtown, they’ve made two more twos than us but their edge is coming from the foul line courtesy of Tony Brothers. The score is really Celtics 54 Nuggets 54 + brothers 8 so we are right in this

Cs are out shooting and rebounding them.  Difference is they are 14/14 vs 6/10 in free throws.  Cs make a few more 3s and its an even game.

Unicorn.  Need those 3's to keep falling if we want to win.

Two quick threes and we’re back in it… If we can overcome the Tony Brothers Effect we will be in good shape

KP! That's what I keep saying - they can't guard the KP PnR with Jokic. No idea why we went away from it.

exactly… Gotta overcome the Tony Brothers Effect and we will be in good shape, far too early for wrist slitting

is it just me or does Tatum seemed to be bothered by Denver's size?

100%. We are putting JT in secondary actions and Denver's defense is recovering beautifully. Also, as mentioned above, we are trying to put Jokic in the ball screen and get a switch..
