It would be a pretty big hole if they lost today.

They would have to win 4 out of 5. Not good for a team as inconsistent and prone to let-downs as this Celtics group is.

Calling on White to have a great game today on both ends

He’s honestly been mostly meh since the start of the Sixers series. We really need him though this series. For most of the season he was probably our 3rd best/consistent player

Super frustrating how D White is playing.

I wonder how well he'll respond to losing his starting spot and sharing backup guard minutes with Brogdon.

It is not even that D White is a clear 28-30mpg 6th man. White's minutes should be reduced if we are playing bigger. And G Will's minutes increased in order to maintain greater size. I think Mazzula is making a mistake trying to maintain the minutes of White and Brogdon while simultaenously dropping White from the starting unit.

Let's hope they've gotten the requisite rude awakening after last Wednesday and tonight they decide to win 4 quarters instead of winning 3 and calling it a night

I do think that if their mental focus/effort pattern holds, this should be a win, and a solid one...as will probably the first game in Miami. It's the 4th game that we need to be worried about, that's when they usually switch off after two wins in a row. If they lose tonight then they're going to be in a difficult position to say the least.

If they just don't lose the 3rd quarter by 20 points and give up 46 they couldv'e won that game.

just need to keep focus for 4 quarters.

I’m way too nervous. This team has what’s the word Doc said mental terrorism?! Yeah this team has that against this Miami Heat and Warrior team. I don’t know what it is but I said it before the series, this team just forgets how to play basketball for 48min against them. They get shook they get out muscled it’s sad really.

Then you factor in the horrible mismatch and joke that is our coach…it’s just hard to be confident. Tatum as well he’s so inconsistent he could drop 45 tonight in a blowout or start the game off 4/16 while coughing it up 7 times. I don’t know what to expect but I have an uneasy feeling about tonight.

No more bone headed turnovers. Miami is ball hawking waiting for the stupid long transition pass. Let's play the right way. Keep Pritchard on the bench. If you want try sprinle someone else in let it be Grant or Houser for a few minutes.

Can we please see Grant on Bam to prevent that wide open FT jump shot?

If C's lose tonight then they're pretty much done, sticking a fork in it. I don't see them winning 4 straight let alone 2 in Miami. Can get away with one but Miami will win the other home game.

My thoughts exactly and even if we win today it’s probably still a split in Miami

Yep. I can see Miami being up 3-1 heading into game 5 if the Cs lose tonight.

I hope Mazzulla has a counter to the counter because they know we are going to run them off the midrange area

I know I sound like a grandpa saying this, but I HATE the late start times for these Conference Finals & Finals series. It sucks for East coast folks. It's nice that tomorrow is a weekend day, but I want to go to bed now lol but instead I'll have to stay up until close to midnight to watch Game 2

At least TNT does start the games on time usually. Not like ESPN who starts 25 minutes after "tipoff"
