disappointing finish to this game.. I wanted to see some of the texas players stick around another game to evaluate and don't see butler winning another game..

Rick Barnes falls to 1-11 all-time as a lower seed in the tournament, including 0-7 as 8 to 12 seed

Had the opportunity to go to the Texas game today. I work and have class right across the street from where they're playing at the Consol Energy Center in downtown Pittsburgh. I really wanted to go watch Turner and see if he could be someone I could get excited about as a potential draft pick. Looks like it was a good thing I couldn't go  :-\

UCLA got away from a VERY controversial play. Oh my Lord. I think SMU got royally screwed.

Edit: The replay shows the call was correct. I stand corrected. SMU lost on a goaltending. Sad.

I feel so bad for SMU they just got cheated by the refs in the last  20 secs by a bad goaltending call

They showed a better angled replay, an SMU player DID touch the ball as it is going down the rim. I thought they got screwed as well, but it was the correct call. Which makes it even tougher for SMU. That shot was way off.

That is a bull Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. call. It was clearly an air ball.

I was sneaking a peak with the sound off at work and I couldn't tell for the life of me what the hell was going on...

Was touched on it's way down, Evan. It looked like it would graze the rim short, and was tipped as it gets to the rim.

Even if its going to be an airball though, it's close enough to the rim to be called goaltend. I agree with that call.

Yeah it looked bad at first but on the replay, while it was definitely going to miss, that's still a goaltend.  Too hasty by the SMU player, then their guard leaves 2 game winners short.  Terrible way to lose.
