Two 40% 3-pt shooters out tonight and Sam goes 2/10 and PP goes 1/5.  And the Hawks went 50% from 3 (18/36).  Not the end of the world.

This was an absolute garbage loss. About as bad as they get and a replica of several of there losses this season. No excuses should be given whatsoever. You are right though, not the end of the world. The rest of this regular season essentially means nothing. Its championship or bust come playoffs though and unfortunately they play terrible under pressure.

But it is an issue when they have several of these same type of late game meltdowns to lose playoff games. We saw this same kind of loss to a bad Atlanta team last year.

Celtics lack any kind of killer instinct

I expect a sound win on Thursday.  I expect everyone to play with more force and physicality.  The C's have to know that this depleted Atlanta squad can't beat a locked in C's squat.  Losing twice to Atlanta in these circumstances is not acceptable.

Still mentally soft. Still stupid in crunch time.

They have given away several games this season in this same manner. Charlotte, Cleveland, Denver twice, pacers twice, Minnesota, tonight. Almost gave the game to the bucks.

They just don’t make the plays in close games under 5 minutes.

Obviously I have my concerns come playoffs. I don’t trust this team at all and would bet on the field over them. They ran away with the best regular season record. Wouldn’t be surprised if they won it all. Wouldn’t be surprised if they lost in the first round.

I expect most guys sit and a worn out Atlanta on a back to back beats them again.

Wouldn't be surprised if this team loses Game 1 and/or 2 in the first-round. Isn't that what happened the last time the Celtics were the #1 seed? Lose first two games to the Bulls at the TD Garden

Every time they lose a game you say they are going to go on a losing streak lol

The line up to start the 4th quarter and allowed the hawks to get out to a 15-5 lead in the quarter was criminal.

Joe once again showed he’s still a liability.

That was the icing on the cake for me. Give me one good reason why we should throw out a lineup of Svi, Springer, Tatum, Hauser, and Kornet out there when trying to stop an extended run from the Hawks? In what way is that going to help us in the playoffs?

While we're at it, if we're so focused on getting playoff reps in end-game scenarios, what is the point of sitting back and watching the guys just continue to iso themselves to death like they always do and doing nothing to change that?

Don't get me wrong, this is on the Jays, too, as they're the ones who actually did it. But it's on the coach to fix these issues and put these guys into positions to succeed where they traditionally haven't been able to. Joe did not do that, and rather he just sat back and watched it all unfold without doing anything to address it.

We're almost always going to be at a coaching disadvantage in the playoffs, and that might be too much to overcome even with this much talent.

The late game offense consists of brown or Tatum running out the shot clock and they taking a terrible iso step back jumper.

Literally zero ball movement in those situations. Ever.

And I’m done with point Tatum. Have to have jrue or white on the floor.

On the bright side, if the Celtics get bounced in the ECF or before the ECF again then Joe can finally go

Let’s talk about KP. He is out of rhythm big time on both ends.
