What do you think now? Are you satisfied with where this team is? Has this been a successful season? Is IT now a proven max guy? Has Horford been a great addition? Is Bradley a real deal #2/#3 option that can give you All-NBA defense and should be kept? Is Brad Stevens vindicated as a top coach in this league?
My view hasnt Raani changed much.
Not satisfied with where the team is. I feel a Rondo injury and KG speech were the only things saving this team from becoming the first #1 seed ever Ti be knocked off by a #8 seed.
The season has been successful, but not as successful as it could have been. I knew changed needed to be made for the team to be at its best, and after this series I haven't changed my mind on that. We need to add either a proper starting calibre Pf, or another go-to scorer, abd I think that's been made clear on numerous occasions in this series
IT is definitely a proven Max guy - ive felt that way since last season, so my thoughts haven't changed there.
I wouldn't say Horford has been a great addition. I'd say he's been an ok addition. There have been times where he's looked like a terrible addition given what were paying, but his play in the playoffs thus far has come pretty close to justifying his contract. We'll have to see if he keeps that up before coming to certain conclusions. I expect more then 2 weeks of quality output from a $30m man, so well see.
Bradley absolutely is a real deal #3 guy. On a championship team, and I've had no doubts about that for about 2 years now.
Brad Steven's im still undecided on. He makes some great decisions and some questionable ones. And the fact that it took a Kg speech to motivate the team leaves me questioning coach's motivational skills (and that of Horford, who's vet leadership was supposed to be his biggest advantage).
