For those who could use some good news - LeBron's foundation and a bunch of partners have built the "I Promise School" in Akron for at-risk 3rd and 4th graders. The program includes a state-of-the-art school but also things like mentors for parents to get GEDs.

Despite acting like a preening ass at times in the first half of his career and beating up on Boston in the second half, LeBron really seems like a good dude with a level head and a strong moral compass. An excellent representative for the league.

This can't possibly be allowed here...unless it is a sample of what's to come in our new, edgier CB Forums.

As for Lebron, I've always thought he was a good person, just that he cared a little too much what other people thought of him. This is a great thing he's done - maybe I will learn to like him a little more now that he is a likely non-factor in the WC.

LeBron has always cared about helping his community, especially children. This sounds like just another example of his generosity.

I appreciate the good that people do.  But he is a Laker...  can't offer him full praise yet.
